Visit to Centre for NanoScience and Engg, IISc
The first year M.Tech students of VLSI and Embedded Systems accompanied by faculty members of Electronics/ Telecommunication departments had the unique opportunity of visiting ‘The Centre for NanoScience and Engineering’ and the ‘Instrumentation Department’ at IISc, Bangalore, on December 30, 2011. The students were taken through sophisticated labs such as the Photolithography lab,Characterization lab, Thin Films lab and the FDG Lab. The visit enabled the students to have a practical idea of theory taught in the classrooms and also about the opportunities for research, existing in the field.
